Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It is a TV anime produced by Zero-G based on Alfred Yamamoto's web manga, first broadcast on January 10, 2020, commonly known as "Rikekoi." Shobu Himuro, a brilliant science grad student at Saigyoku University, confesses her feelings to her labmate Kokoya Yukimura. But there's no logical basis for that "liking"... As science majors, they hold the belief that "if you can't logically prove you're in love, you can't call it love, and you'd be a failure as a scientist!" So the two, roping in their whole lab, begin experiments to define "love" — dating experiments, decomposing the components of affection, heart-rate measurements, mood-value tracking, and more. It's a science-flavored romantic comedy full of laughs and heart-fluttering moments as an endearingly eccentric cast of scientists tries to logically prove love.
