Anne Shirley, an imaginative orphan girl, arrives at Green Gables on Prince Edward Island, Canada, and grows from girlhood to womanhood under the care of siblings Marilla and Matthew, navigating friendship, love, and self-discovery along the way. Animation is produced by Answer Studio, with broadcast beginning April 5, 2025 on NHK E-tele. The OP storyboard and direction were handled by Naoko Yamada.
