Spirited Away is a Studio Ghibli feature film written, and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, released in Japanese theaters on July 20, 2001, through Toho. While moving to a new town, 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino passes through a mysterious tunnel with her parents and ends up in what looks like an abandoned theme park town.
