In a near-future Japan gripped by extreme depopulation, children are treated as national treasures and raised under strict adult supervision in boarding schools. Santa Claus — a figure who gives children hope and dreams — has been branded dangerous and targeted for elimination. On a snowy December 25th, middle schooler Kazushige Sanda is suddenly attacked by his classmate Shiori Fuyumura, who has learned he's a descendant of Santa Claus and wants him to grant her wish: find her missing best friend, Ichie Ono. To protect the children around him, Sanda decides to become Santa Claus and fight back against the adults. Created by Paru Itagaki (BEASTARS, winner of the 2018 Manga Taisho grand prize) and animated by Science SARU (Dandadan, The Colors Within), this is a genre-bending Santa Claus hero-action series.
