Nichijou - My Ordinary Life is a TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation based on Keiichi Arawi's manga, broadcast in 26 episodes from April 3 to September 25, 2011 on TV Tokyo, directed by Tatsuya Ishihara. Yuuko Aioi, a high schooler at Tokisadame High School (also known simply as Yuuko), is a cheerful, energetic, and slightly dim-witted girl, and the show follows the outlandish everyday life she shares with her eccentric friends. Meanwhile, a laid-back day passes at the Shinonome Research Institute, home to the child genius Hakase, her robot daughter Nano, and the talking cat Sakamoto.
