At a countryside middle school, a boy and a girl once swore eternal friendship. Bound together by a shared dream, their relationship stays comfortably unchanged for two years. Now in their second year of high school, upbeat Himari Inuzuka — who's never once fallen in love — and plant-loving Yuu Natsume still peacefully run their two-person gardening club as "best friends." But when Yuu reunites with his first crush, Rinne Enomoto, the gears of their relationship suddenly start grinding out of sync.
