The movie "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" is a theatrical anime adaptation of the mega-popular manga "Chainsaw Man" by Tatsuki Fujimoto.
Released nationwide on September 19, 2025 (Friday) as a direct sequel to the 2022 TV anime Season 1.
Adapting the "Reze Arc" (original manga Vol.5 Ch.39 - Vol.6 Ch.52), one of the most popular arcs, it became a mega-hit with 8.31 billion yen box office and 5.43 million viewers in 52 days.
Production by MAPPA continues from the TV anime, with director Tatsuya Yoshihara.
