Since the very beginning, before he was born, 2000 years ago Eren's life was already determined. He was never free the whole time... everything he did HAD to be. He had to kill those two men when he was a kid, not because he wanted to. Despite this he would attempt to keep his freedom by thinking he…Its not even the titan though. For me personally its Erins shadow in the Yungian sense. All the Trauma Erin has endured. Hes just a product of his environment and they reap what they sowed.True. First verses also fit perfectly with Eren's story. -

Someone told me that this was the worst aot opening out of all of them and I just stared at them in silence for a whileWell from the chorus, it says : If I lose it all, slip and fall I will never look away. It means that if you decided for something. Even if you lose everything, even if you fall, there's no turning back.
